It was a proper cat-fight when Northeastern duked it out with Cochranton on Saturday. Northeastern walked away with a 2-0 victory over Cochranton. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Hugh Rogers paced Northeastern's offense, picking up nine kills. Rogers got some help from Jacob Zambito and his 12 assists. Finally, Lincoln Wertz and Jackson Wertz kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 2-0-2. As for Cochranton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Northeastern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Meadville on the 22nd. As for Cochranton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Saegertown at 7:15 p.m. on April 2.
