It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Yorkville Christian challenged Walther Christian Academy on Saturday. The Yorkville Christian Mustangs breezed by the Walther Christian Academy Broncos to the tune of 90-45. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Yorkville Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tray Alford out in front who went 9 of 15 on his way to 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Riley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists.

The win made it two in a row for Yorkville Christian and bumps their season record up to 19-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34 points. As for Walther Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-17.

Looking ahead, Yorkville Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against DePue at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yorkville Christian is facing DePue at the right time seeing as DePue is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Walther Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
