Mid-Buchanan and Lawson are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Mid-Buchanan Dragons are taking a road trip to square off against the Lawson Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mid-Buchanan is coming into the game hot, having won their last 13 games.

Last Friday, everything went Mid-Buchanan's way against Plattsburg as Mid-Buchanan made off with a 50-30 win. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lawson blew past Penney, posting a 62-29 victory. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Mid-Buchanan's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.2 points over those games. As for Lawson, their win bumped their record up to 21-6.

Mid-Buchanan came up short against Lawson in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 58-53. Can Mid-Buchanan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
