Softball Recap: Wilder Wildcats vs. Challis Vikings
Wilder's game on Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Challis Vikings as the Wilder Wildcats made off with a 21-15 win. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
Wilder got a massive performance out of A. Fogg, who scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was G. Perez, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
The victory got Wilder back to even at 4-4.
Wilder is on the road again in their first game on Saturday to play Wendell at 8:30 a.m. As for Challis, they will challenge Soda Springs at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Soda Springs knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy run totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Challis likes a good challenge.
