Soccer Game Preview: Bay vs. Petal

The Bay Tigers will challenge the Petal Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bay will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Bay's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Moss Point 9-0. Considering Bay has won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Moss Point with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kamryn Lafontaine (4), AJ Labat (2), Kyleigh Decrevel (2), and Southern DeCamp.

Meanwhile, Petal faced Brandon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Panthers lost 9-0 to the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, Petal's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Petal's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4-2. As for Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2-2.
