Princeton is 3-0 against Independence since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Princeton Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Independence Patriots at 7:00 a.m.

Last Saturday, Princeton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-39 to Hoover. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Independence sidestepped PikeView for a 74-72 victory.

Independence's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Princeton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Princeton strolled past Independence in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 61-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Princeton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
