North Charleston's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Richard Hazel III, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds, and Marco Simpson, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 17 points. That's the most points Simpson has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Jordan, who put up four points and three steals.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stall). They strolled past Hanahan with points to spare last Tuesday, taking the game 60-45. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their 25-point performance the game before.
Stall's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for North Charleston, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
North Charleston didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Stall in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, but they still walked away with a 75-71 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Stall's Kevin Stokes, who went 13 of 22 on his way to 38 points and four steals. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for North Charleston to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
