Volleyball Recap: Firestone Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Firestone walked away with it. They came out on top against the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Among those leading the charge was Rohan Gould, who had 32 assists and four digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Firestone was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 9-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Firestone's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Firestone has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 19th. Cuyahoga Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
