Recap: Rouse Raiders vs. Hays Hawks

The Rouse Raiders won the last time they faced the Hays Hawks, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went Rouse's way against Hays as Rouse made off with a 63-37 victory. With Rouse ahead 38-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Amarie Haywood continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The matchup was his 16th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jojo Moore, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.

Rouse is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Hays, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

Rouse will be playing at home against Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenn will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 198th, while Rouse is ranked 33rd). As for Hays, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Hill will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
