Basketball Recap: North Lenoir Takes a Loss

North Lenoir lost against Kinston back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Lenoir Hawks were dealt a 70-41 loss at the hands of the Kinston Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Vikings are ranked 50th).

North Lenoir's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Kinston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither North Lenoir nor Kinston have any future games scheduled.
