Pensacola's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 70-62 victory over the Tate Aggies. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 52.8 points per game.

Pensacola's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from AG Floyd, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Jones, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Despite the defeat, Tate had strong showings from Marcus Cooper, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds, and Keontrez Montgomery, who posted 16 points in addition to six assists and five boards. What's more, Montgomery also racked up four steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Kyle Shirley, who put up six points.

The victory got Pensacola back to even at 3-3. As for Tate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Pensacola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-23 loss against Foley on the 12th. As for Tate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-47 defeat against Niceville on the 12th.
