Baseball Recap: Tipton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Tipton Christian Academy lost against Millington Central on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Trojans, falling 14-3.

Tipton Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Tucker, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Tipton Christian Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for Millington Central, they pushed their record up to 7-22 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tipton Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Ripley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.56 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Millington Central, they will challenge Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
