Volleyball Recap: Jaicey Edwards and Hayden Anderson Secure Win for Century

After losing to Shawnee the last time they met, Century decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Centurions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Redskins on Tuesday.

Century never let Shawnee on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24.

Century was led to victory by Hayden Anderson and Jaicey Edwards. Anderson had five digs and two aces, while Edwards had five digs. What's more, Anderson posted two assists, the most she's had over her last two games.

Century's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Shawnee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Century has already played their next contest (against Steeleville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shawnee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elverado at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
