Basketball Recap: Matawan Regional Takes a Loss

After flying high against Asbury Park last Monday, Matawan Regional came back down to earth. The Matawan Regional Huskies had to suffer through a 46-13 loss at the hands of the Jackson Memorial Jaguars. The Huskies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Jaguars from their previous meeting back in February of 2018.

Matawan Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Matawan Regional and Robbinsville will compete for holiday cheer at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jackson Memorial, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Manasquan at 5:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
