Basketball Recap: Osbourn Comes Up Short

Osbourn was the 65-55 winner over South County when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Osbourn Eagles were beaten by the South County Stallions 91-25 on Thursday. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Osbourn's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for South County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osbourn will welcome Charles J. Colgan at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for South County, they and Potomac Senior will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Potomac Senior's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
