Softball Recap: Buckingham Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Buckingham, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Randolph-Henry Statesmen by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 back in April.

Buckingham's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Randolph-Henry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
