Varnum was the 50-39 winner over Earlsboro when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Whippets fell 56-48 to the Wildcats on Saturday. The game marked the Whippets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Varnum fell to 6-1. As for Earlsboro, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Varnum will challenge Bowlegs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Earlsboro has already played their next contest (against Macomb), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
