Volleyball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Wildcats vs. Logan County Cougars

After flying high against Russellville last Monday, Franklin-Simpson came back down to earth. The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Logan County Cougars on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since September 3rd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-19.

Logan County was led to victory by Kambell Porter and Chaney Barrow. Porter had four digs, a kill, and 33 assists, while Barrow had 16 digs. Porter is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in the last 23 games she's played dating back to last season.

Franklin-Simpson's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Logan County, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Franklin-Simpson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against John Hardin on the 28th. Logan County has also already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against South Warren on the 25th.
