Carterville can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They never let the Belleville East Lancers onto the board and left with a 7-0 win. Carterville is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 11 straight.
Kennedy Rushing was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Amayah Doyle, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Carterville pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
