Jonesboro lost to Evant back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Jonesboro Eagles breezed by the Evant Elks to the tune of 49-15. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Jonesboro has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Evant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cranfills Gap the next time they take the court. Jonesboro will host Cranfills Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Evant will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
