Baseball Game Preview: Bonham Warriors vs. Van Alstyne Panthers

The Bonham Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Van Alstyne Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bonham has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 22.

Friday just wasn't the day for Bonham's offense. They came up short against Celina on Friday, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, Van Alstyne came up short against Emerson on Saturday and fell 7-3.

Graham Haynes was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those runs were his first of the season.

Bonham's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Van Alstyne, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Bonham might still be hurting after the 12-4 loss they got from Van Alstyne in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
