California has gone 8-2 against Jefferson-Morgan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trojans will head out to take on the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Jefferson-Morgan will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: California extended their winning streak to six on Friday. The Trojans blew past Bethlehem Center 38-3. The Trojans pushed the score to 30-3 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had little chance of recovering from.

Malachi Peak produced another solid performance rushing for 169 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards. Alan Dennis was in the mix as well, providing California with two scores.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: California was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
California didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chase Shemansky and Adin Keyes.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jefferson-Morgan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed past Avella to the tune of 47-6 on Friday. The Rockets have beaten the Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.
California better keep an eye on Deakyn Dehoet. He was instrumental in Jefferson-Morgan's win, rushing for 153 yards and four TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 71 yards and one touchdown.
California's record now sits at 8-1. As for Jefferson-Morgan, their record is now an identical 8-1.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. California has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 249.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Jefferson-Morgan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 204.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
California and Jefferson-Morgan were almost perfectly matched up in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but California suffered an agonizing 28-27 defeat. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
