Baseball Recap: St. Michael-Albertville Finds Home Field Redemption Against Buffalo

There's no place like home for St. Michael-Albertville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let the Buffalo Bison get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Buffalo's batters probably weren't too happy with Ryley Wuebkers, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (he gave up two walks). Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Wuebkers.

On the hitting side, St. Michael-Albertville's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Crank, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. James Fry also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

St. Michael-Albertville's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Buffalo, they moved to 9-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither St. Michael-Albertville nor the Bison have any future games scheduled.
