Basketball Recap: Puget Sound Adventist Takes a Loss

Puget Sound Adventist suffered their closest defeat since December 14, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of the Northwest Christian Wolverines by a score of 47-45. The Sharks just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Jack Vahey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northwest Christian, going 5 of 8 en route to 13 points and six rebounds. Vahey has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Myles McLain, who posted nine points.

Puget Sound Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Northwest Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Puget Sound Adventist will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Concordia Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. Puget Sound Adventist is facing Concordia Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Concordia Christian Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Northwest Christian, they will take on Summit Classical Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Summit Classical Christian School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Northwest Christian likes a good challenge.
