Crystal Lake Central won against Elk Grove on Wednesday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Tigers took their contest with ease, bagging a 62-32 win over the Elgin Maroons. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 59-41 loss the last time these two teams met.

Aidan Watson was nothing short of spectacular: he went 7-for-10 to rack up 19 points. Bud Shanahan was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Crystal Lake Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 62.0 points this season.
