It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ojai Valley had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles as they made off with a 15-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Spuds sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Archer Moller was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.
In other batting news, Ojai Valley got a massive performance out of Renji Hanai, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs.
