Derrek Sims Game Report: vs Summit

Derrek Sims produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Standley Lake to the win on Friday. Sims went 9 for 12 en route to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals, good enough to set a new career-high in steals in the process. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Sims will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Wheat Ridge on Wednesday. The Gators got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Farmers, probably because Sims had a solid game then too: he went 7 of 17 on his way to 20 points and seven boards.
