Valdosta extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Brandon Brown. The Valdosta Wildcats walked away with a 57-44 win over the Colquitt County Packers on Thursday thanks in part to Brown, who went 6-for-11 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played.

Valdosta's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9. Even more impressive is the teams they beat to make that streak: Colquitt County, they, and Lowndes. As for Colquitt County, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

Coming up, Valdosta will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Lowndes at 7:00 p.m. Valdosta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season. As for Colquitt County, they will take on Tift County at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
