Basketball Recap: Beverly Comes Up Short

Beverly was the 64-44 winner over Gloucester when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Beverly Panthers fell to the Gloucester Fishermen 77-73.

Beverly's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Gloucester, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beverly will host Arlington at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Gloucester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winthrop at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
