Softball Recap: St. Genevieve Has No Trouble Against Pomona Catholic

St. Genevieve won the last time they faced Pomona Catholic and things went their way on Monday too. The Valiants put the hurt on the Pacers with a sharp 16-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Valiants, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

St. Genevieve has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14.7 runs. As for Pomona Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Genevieve will take on La Salle at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Valiants surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pomona Catholic, they will head out to face off against Sacred Heart of Jesus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
