Powell is a perfect 5-0 against Anderson County since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will take on the Mavericks at 6:30 p.m.

Powell is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Knoxville Catholic on Thursday. Neither the Panthers nor the Fighting Irish could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Powell's goal came courtesy of Piper Scarbrough, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Anderson County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Governors.

Anderson County's win bumped their record up to 7-3-2. With that draw, Powell's record moves to 5-3-1.

Powell took their victory against Anderson County when the teams last played back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 7-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
