Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Trinity Christian hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They secured a 46-40 W over the David Emanuel Academy Eagles on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for Trinity Christian: when they faced off against David Emanuel Academy back in December of 2024, they had to take a 39-35 defeat.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aubrey Williams, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily McRae, who earned nine points and eight rebounds.

Trinity Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for David Emanuel Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will challenge The Habersham School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for David Emanuel Academy, they will square off against Covenant Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
