Volleyball Recap: Leominster Comes Up Short

Leominster suffered their biggest loss since October 15, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the North Middlesex Regional Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Monday.

While Leominster was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-12.

This is the second loss in a row for Leominster and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for North Middlesex Regional, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leominster will challenge Nashoba Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Middlesex Regional, they will face off against Fitchburg at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
