Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parker). Everything went their way against the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks on Saturday as the Parker Pheasants made off with a 57-34 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Pheasants as it spelled an end to their 18-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Tiospaye Topa's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacolby Rousseau, who posted 14 points. Laken Traversie was another key player, putting up seven points.

Parker's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Tiospaye Topa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Parker will face off against Bon Homme at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parker is facing Bon Homme at the right time seeing as Bon Homme is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tiospaye Topa, they will head out to face off against Newell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
