Basketball Recap: Great Hearts Northern Oaks Takes a Loss

Great Hearts Northern Oaks played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Cole Cougars, falling 66-44. The Griffins haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Great Hearts Northern Oaks saw an underclassman step up: freshman DeLaney Paulos posted 25 points. The match was Paulos' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ashley Warren was another key player, putting up six points.

Great Hearts Northern Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Cole, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-14.
