After a string of four wins, Jack Britt's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Cape Fear Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 19-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Alexis Siles paced Jack Britt's offense, picking up 11 kills. Siles were helped by Olivia Montoya and Sarah Badra, who contributed 15 assists each.

Cape Fear can attribute much of their success to Kloe Watts, who had four digs and two aces.

Jack Britt's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Cape Fear, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Jack Britt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Pine Forest on the 7th. As for Cape Fear, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Terry Sanford on the 7th.
