Baseball Recap: Lima Senior Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lima Senior's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Bath Wildcats on Tuesday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lima Senior saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Hughes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Hughes has hit this season.

Lima Senior's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Bath, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Lima Senior will take on Shawnee at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bath, they will head out to square off against Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
