Basketball Game Preview: Floyd County Buffaloes vs. Radford Bobcats

The Floyd County Buffaloes will venture away from home to face off against the Radford Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Floyd County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.

Floyd County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 75-74 win over Glenvar.

Meanwhile, Radford took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 64-28 victory over James River. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Bobcats this season.

Floyd County is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Radford, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.

Everything went Floyd County's way against Radford in their previous matchup back in January, as Floyd County made off with a 50-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Floyd County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
