Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Episcopal's Ninth in Last 11 Outings

Episcopal won the last time they faced Kinkaid and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Episcopal Knights snuck past the Kinkaid Falcons with a 58-53 victory. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Falcons are ranked 587th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Episcopal has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Kinkaid, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Episcopal will take on The Awty International at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Episcopal knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully The Awty International likes a good challenge. As for Kinkaid, they will challenge St. John's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. John's has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three matchups.
