Basketball Game Preview: Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors vs. Romulus Eagles

Last Tuesday, it was close, but Southfield Arts & Tech sidestepped Bloomfield Hills for a 52-49 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Black Hawks: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Romulus came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 44-34 win over the Gators.

Romulus pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for Southfield Arts & Tech, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Southfield Arts & Tech came up short against Romulus in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 60-52. Can Southfield Arts & Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
