Volleyball Recap: Archie Williams Takes a Loss

Archie Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons. If the Peregrine Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Dragons when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18.

Duco Nieulant paced Archie Williams' offense, picking up three kills. Nieulant got some help from Zachary Wulff and his two assists.

Archie Williams' loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Bishop O'Dowd, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Archie Williams wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Miramonte on the 29th. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Castro Valley on the 29th.
