Volleyball Recap: Hardin Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Hardin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Laurel Locomotives on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Locomotives: they've now won five in a row.

Hardin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Liberty Koyama paced Hardin's offense, picking up 13 kills. Koyama got some help from Lucy Baker and her 34 assists. Zarah Blacksmith controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Laurel's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bailey Bequette, who had 16 digs and two aces, and Brooklynn Eklund, who had ten kills and nine digs.

Hardin now has a winning record of 10-9-1. As for Laurel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1.
