Football Game Preview: Panther Creek Panthers vs. Rochelle Hornets + How To Watch

The Panther Creek Panthers will head out to take on the Rochelle Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Panther Creek has given up an average of 33.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Panther Creek is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Richland Springs last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Panthers were beaten by the Coyotes 64-6. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Coyotes are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Rochelle's offense. They had to suffer through a 62-0 loss at the hands of Richland Springs. The Hornets were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the three contests prior), but the Coyotes' defense proved too tough.

With the loss, Rochelle broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-6. As for Panther Creek, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4.
