Basketball Recap: Pilot Point Takes a Loss

Pilot Point lost against Paradise back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pilot Point Bearcats were outmatched by the Paradise Panthers and fell 86-12. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1257th, while the Panthers are ranked 248th).

Pilot Point dropped their record down to 3-19 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Paradise, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pilot Point Bearcats duke it out with the Callisburg Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paradise, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Boyd at 6:00 p.m.
