Coal Ridge waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They blew past the Battle Mountain Huskies 8-1. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Maddox Olivas, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Coal Ridge hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in eight consecutive games.

Coal Ridge's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Battle Mountain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
