Football Recap: Centre Cougars vs. Little River Redskins
Centre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 32-0 loss at the hands of the Little River Redskins. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Redskins are ranked tenth).
Little River found their leader in underclassman Jaren Garrison, who rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Centre's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Little River, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
