Basketball Recap: Patterson Comes Up Short

Patterson lost against Edmondson-Westside back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patterson Clippers came up short against the Edmondson-Westside Red Storm, falling 65-42. While losing is never fun, the Clippers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Red Storm are ranked 17th).

Patterson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Edmondson-Westside, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Patterson has already played their next game (against City College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Edmondson-Westside has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Douglass.
