Soccer Recap: West Rowan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Rowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 6-3 to the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans. The match was a 3-3 toss-up at halftime, but West Rowan couldn't quite close it out.

Gabriel Tavira and Emerson Alvarado scored all three of West Rowan's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

West Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Northwest Cabarrus, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Rowan will face off against South Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Rowan will be up against South Rowan's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.82 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they will square off against Carson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
