Basketball Recap: Gleason Comes Up Short

Gleason suffered their biggest loss since November 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Union City Golden Tornadoes, falling 78-48. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 80-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Gleason and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Union City, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gleason will square off against Lake County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Gleason likes a good challenge. As for Union City, they will face off against Greenfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
