Baseball Recap: Kenedy Gets the Win

Kenedy proved they can win big on Monday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Comfort Bobcats/Deer 4-3. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 7-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kenedy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izaiah Maldonado, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Kenedy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Comfort, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Kenedy has already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Stockdale on the 20th. As for Comfort, they will head out to square off against Cotulla at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
